Coloured render means the colour is in the material, not painted onto it. It goes on wet in the shade you have chosen and it stays that shade, so there is no repainting every few years and nothing to flake off a south facing wall.
The range is wide, from off whites and creams through to greys and darker heritage colours. We have done houses, shop fronts and commercial units in it, and the frontage is usually the thing the owner is most pleased with afterwards.
Colour itself does not usually change the price much. What changes it is the size of the elevations, the access, and what is on the wall already.
We survey for free and price the whole job in writing, including the scaffold and any preparation. Darker colours and specialist shades can carry a small premium from the manufacturer, and if yours does we will tell you that at quote stage rather than adding it later.
Usually, yes. Bring us a photo or a reference and we will find the nearest shade in the system we are using, then show you what it looks like on your own walls before you commit.
Through coloured systems hold up far better than paint, because there is no thin surface layer to break down. Very dark shades on a full sun elevation are the hardest test, and we will be straight with you about that when you pick.
Yes. We have rendered shop fronts and commercial units as well as houses, and a tired frontage brought back in a sharp colour changes how a business looks from the road.
No. That is the point of it. A wash down when it needs it is the only maintenance.
